Welcome to the Arkansas International Pageant family. You and your family are about to embark on a truly exciting and memorable adventure. We are very excited about your interest in competing and feel that you will be enriched by this experience. You will be an important part of what makes the International Pageant system one of the best in the Nation. Each delegate that is selected to compete in our pageant system will join a unique group of outstanding women from around the State making a difference in their communities. No previous pageant experience is necessary. The International Pageant family has had winners of all backgrounds, ages and nationalities.

When I was a contestant it was always important for me to know something about the State Director and each pageant system. I look forward to meeting each and everyone of you and would like to give you a brief history of my credentials. I am the Executive Director of Crown Image Productions, and have been involved in the pageant industry for over 30 years as a judge, director, contestant and a coach. A former Miss Jonesboro, Miss Eastern Arkansas, a two time Top Ten finalist in the Miss Arkansas USA Pageant, Mrs. North Carolina America, and Mrs. North Carolina International in 1990. I have won the "Director of the Year" award for the International pageant system for the Mrs. and Miss divisions.

After receiving my Bachelors Degree in Public Relations from Arkansas State University in 1980, I became a Flight Attendant in 1982. As a Cancer survivor and spokesperson for the American Cancer Society I speak on the importance of early detection and prevention of melanoma. Throughout the years I have worked for several major cosmetic companies as a training specialist and make-up artist. With Crown Image Productions I am working in design and interior decorating which I truly love almost as much as pageantry.

In the years that I have been a director for the International system, we have had several ladies finish in the Top 10 and Top five at the National Competitions . Many of the delegates and titleholders have gone on to compete and hold other State and National Titles. The reason I tell you this is to let you know how proud we are of all of our contestants and their accomplishment. Arkansas International Competitions are a great way for you to get experience and work toward your dreams. We promote women competing in all systems and encourage everyone to find the competition that best individually suits them. You should be able to make a choice and compete in all the systems that are provided in your state.

If you haven't experienced the Arkansas International form of pageantry we would love to have you as a contestant. One thing I can guarantee, is that you will go home with a wonderful experience and lots of gifts and prizes. Please print your on line application and send it with your non-refundable processing fee of $200.00. Your name and International title will be registered with our office. You will receive a city and/or county banner and crown after all fees are received. You may use this to promote your platform and to make appearances throughout your community. For more information on the entry fees please contact my office. We have the Little Miss Arkansas International, Miss Teen Arkansas International, and Miss Arkansas International Competitions held the same weekend as the Mrs. Arkansas International Competition. This is a fun way to give these young ladies an opportunity to meet married women throughout Arkansas and set up a great mentoring network.

I hope you enjoy our Web Page and leave here with knowledge about possibilities for your future. We look forward to having you as a contestant. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity.

Sincerely,
Bernee' Thurow
